About
Swigart Herefords is a small Registered Hereford operation based out of Farmer City, Illinois that was started in 1939. From the very beginning Swigart Herefords has emphasized quality phenotype cattle as the foundation of the program. Over the four generations of Swigart family members that have produced these top-quality genetics, a specific focus on cow families and maternal has become an even bigger priority. The Swigarts have hand selected top end cow families to base the program including influential cows like SW 80P Isabelle 9431, Swigart 9160 Olivia 4027, Swigart X06 Diamond 705 and Swigart 520C Rockstar 7930 just to name a few. Show ring success is obviously a measuring tool here, but just as important the Swigart’s strive to provide top quality seedstock to both breeders and showmen alike.
