Swigart Cattle Photography 

Adam Swigart has been around cattle his entire life. He is currently the fourth generation partner of his family's purebred Hereford operation, Swigart Herefords, located in rural Farmer City, Illinois. His passion for cattle started at a very young age. He began exhibiting cattle at age seven and went on to compete at the local, state and national levels. He also became involved in livestock judging programs through 4-H and FFA. After graduating from High School, he received a livestock judging scholarship to attend Black Hawk College. As a student, he met a large network of contacts in the livestock industry. He then transferred to the University of Illinois where he also competed on a very successful judging team. He graduated from U of I with many memories and earned a degree in agricultural education. Many individuals helped him accomplish his cattle showing and livestock judging achievements. He specifically attributes his success to his parents Karl and Peggy Swigart, and his livestock judging coaches Stan Tarr, Dan Hoge, Lee Denzer, Craig Beckmier and Dan Shike.
